As stated by Adobe:

Designed specifically for online video creators, Premiere Rush CC integrates capture, intuitive editing, simplified color, audio and motion graphics with seamless publishing to leading social platforms, such as YouTube and Instagram, all together in one easy to use solution. Like the good old iMovie

Premiere Rush CC is basically all in one app solution: Premiere Pro + Audition + After effects. You can cut, crop. rotate, add titles. color grade, superficial sound design and more. It’s very similar to iMovie in terms of capabilities and very easy to use, but in Premiere GUI (Graphical User Interface). The goal is to make a very simple tool for creating and publishing video content for the web.

Dedicated for publishing in social networks

Premiere Rush CC is dedicated for creating a short clip for social networks (FB, Instagram and so on). This is not a NLE software for editing a feature film that is built upon a multi layer complex timeline.

For in-depth demonstration and workflow in regard to utilization of the app,  check out the video below taken form Adobe MAX 2018

Price: $9.99 per month for individuals, $19.99 for teams, and $29.99 for enterprise.

Final thoughts

The app is perfect for those who are afraid of sophisticated editing softwares, and for those who want to edit short and quick social clips.

Junior editors can start from Premiere Rush CC and move on to more professional applications like PP after gaining some confidence on building timelines. Exactly like many FCPX professional editors that have started with the minimal interface of iMovie.
