Large Format Cinema Lenses: Filmmakers’ Chart

1 min read

In continuous to our previous article regarding large-format cinema lenses, we’ve decided to prepare a simplified chart that contains all this useful information. The table is divided into sections per each glass: Company, model, artistic description, and price with no particular order.

The chart is dedicated to large format cinema lenses that can be used on high-end cinema applications. The reason for focusing on large format is due to the rising popularity of large format and full-frame sensors. Of course, that doesn’t mean that Super 35 is obsolete. However, lens manufacturers concentrate their efforts on that kind of cinema glass.

To dive a bit more into the details, feel free to read this article.

Important note: We are working hard on those original charts and infographics for the filmmaking community. Thus, you can download the image for your personal use. In case you desire to embed the chart on your social media or website, please give proper credit to Y.M.Cinema Magazine linked to this article.

The chart is high definition so you can view on a large screen (press to enlarge the image).

I suggest them to produce another video that can persuade filmmakers to choose their glass over other large-format overpriced solutions. […]
