COVID-19 continues to wreak havoc the camera industry around the globe as Nikon is applying new restrictions caused by the impact of the coronavirus. After announcing that the forthcoming flagship (Nikon D6) will be delayed, Nikon says that its repair program will be shut down and it will not be accepting any gear. As stated by Nikon on its service page: “NOTICE: Nikon prioritizes the health and safety of our employees and customers. Due to the impact of COVID-19 and in accordance with mandates issued by the federal government and various state governments, we have temporarily suspended equipment repairs at our service facilities and are not currently accepting equipment.
