What is NVIDIA Studio? What is RTX Studio? What is the difference?

NVIDIA Studio is defined as a software and hardware platform utilizing technology to make creative work easier and more efficient. It consists of powerful GPUs that accelerate content creation, dedicated Studio Drivers that deliver the best compatibility and performance for creative applications, purpose-built RTX Studio laptops and desktops from the world’s leading hardware manufacturers, and Studio SDKs that developers can use to add rendering, AI, and video processing features to their apps. The RTX Studios are high-performance mobile systems that are loaded with the NVIDIA GeForce and Quadro RTX GPUs and contain high-spec color-accurate displays, all precision-engineered into ultra-thin profile laptops. Those mobile machines are designed and tested specifically for creative workflows—up to 8K video. The goal is to allow playing back and editing ultra-high resolution video smoothly without pre-caching or generating proxies in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and REDCINE-X PRO. All of this is relevant to Windows systems. Apple has its own Metal which is another ball game. Go here to read our articles regarding Apple’s Metal.
