Sony FX6: Hybridization Between VENICE and Alpha

Sony has announced the development of the FX6 full-frame 4K cinema camera back in September (Sony Announces the Development of FX6: Full Frame 4K Cinema Camera), together with the introduction of Sony’s new Cinema Line, which includes the FX6, FX9, and the mighty VENICE. The camera was actually unveiled two months later (Sony Announces the FX6: A Hybridization Between VENICE and Alpha). In general, the main strengths of the FX6 are the full-frame sensor and the VENICE color science. Being a part of the Cinema Line demands features and capabilities like: Full-frame sensor, wide dynamic range, cinematic look, autofocus, small and lightweight body, and intuitive interfaces with improved ergonomics. Well, the FX6 owns all of that. In fact, Sony has introduced it as hybridization between the VENICE and the Alpha, as a bridge between the mirrorless and the high-end cinema worlds.
