Whether you’ve previously worked with Panavision or not, our goal is to provide you with the information and tools to help realize your project and your potential”. Furthermore, the program offers educational seminars, tours, and product demos for both student and non-student groups (In case you’re interested in discussing an educational event for your group, email Panavision at nfp@panavision.com).

Final thoughts

Panavision is a great company to work with. Furthermore, any grants for filmmakers are more than welcome and blessed in our industry. Just one thing to consider, regarding the Camera Equipment Grants. According to Panavision, its acclaimed anamorphic lenses are not available for NFP projects, nor its large format cameras. If so, what are the cameras and lenses included, as the only relevant Panavision camera is the DXL2 which is a large format sensor (Monstro VV)? Is there a possibility that Panavision will provide its film cameras to selected filmmakers? Thus, before applying, make sure to email Panavision to nfp@panavision.com to get your questions covered and answered.
