Battle-tested by Zack Snyder

The camera is already in active duty by the RED’s lover, Zack Snyder who is currently shooting Netflix’s Rebel Moon with it (read: Zack Snyder Goes (again) Wide-Open With a Bespoke Summiscope Anamorphic Paired with RED V-Raptor XL). In the near future, RED will release the Super 35mm version of the XL (titled V-Raptor XL 8K S35). An S35 version of the ‘regular’ V-Raptor will be released as well. BTW, the price of the V-Raptor XL VV is much more affordable than the Ranger Monstro (which costs $59,950) and is capable of shooting much lower FPS (75) for 8K resolution, as compared to the more affordable studio version (Raptor XL) that is capable of shooting 8K at 120 fps. If so, the XL version pretty much cannibalizes the Ranger. Nevertheless, RED tries hard to make its cameras more affordable in order to conquer more markets, and that is absolutely great. Let’s know your thoughts about that.
