Discussion

First, Panavision leads the table with its T and C anamorphic line. Hollywood DPs love the Panavision look. “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” and “Ford v Ferrari” imagery was based on this glass. In second place is ARRI with its DNA Primes that were used to film “Joker” and “Parasite.” The brand new Signature Primes were utilized on “1917” with the new ALEXA Mini LF to grand the large format look. In third place, we have the “The Irishman” and “Little Women” with the “Cooke Look.” Last but not least, there is the Angenieux Optimo that has been used complementary to other lenses. To sum it up, there is nothing new under the sun as the chart is very much similar to the previews year.
