Shooting with your iPhone up to a depth of 60 meters

The Divevolk SeaTouch 4 Max underwater touchscreen housing is a revolutionary design for smartphones to use underwater up to a depth of 60 meters. For its limitless operation to the touchscreen of the smartphone, you can simply use all the functions and apps of your smartphone. Divevolk claims that this is the world’s 1st underwater full touchscreen diving housing for smartphones. It has been successfully tested by Ripple Training, and we were impressed by its smooth and effective operation. Watch the demonstration below:

Patented membrane to allow full touchscreen interface

As defined by Divevolk, the SeaTouch 4 Max is the “World’s 1st All-in-One Diving Assistant”. According to the company, the major component is the patented underwater touchscreen as on land for underwater iPhone diving cases.”This iPhone diving housing is used for protecting the iPhone and taking great videos, and pictures when surfing, diving, snorkeling, skiing, or other activities. You can use the Compass, the iPhone Built-in compass is easy to access and works well underwater” SeaTouch mentions. Furthermore, the device is claimed to be compatible with all applications. You can use back and front cameras, to take pictures or videos. Note: It’s recommended to remove the screen protector. Otherwise, it may be difficult to put the phone into the housing. That could be a bit problematic. However, it has no buttons. You just use the touchscreen as on land. The Divevolk SeaTouch 4 Max is compatible with the following iPhones: 12/12 Pro/12 Pro Max/13/13 Pro/13 Pro Max/14/14 Plus/14 Pro/14 Pro Max/15/15 Pro/15 Plus/15 Pro Max.

Final thoughts

First, don’t think that this is a sponsored article because it’s not (We do not do sponsored content at all!). We weren’t familiar with this dive housing for iPhones, and thanks to Ripple Training, we saw it and loved it.  And the price is affordable too. The housing costs only $200. For dive housing, it’s considered as a super affordable price. Today’s iPhones are characterized by high filmmaking capabilities, video and camera specs, and also apps. For instance, you can shoot underwater with the Blackmagic Camera app. Just be aware that you will need the red filter adapter (pictured above) and handle with light to get the most performance out of the case (unless you’d like your videos to look green). Caution: When shooting underwater you must pay attention to the dive criteria and data, since the underwater environment can be dangerous, especially when you concentrate on shooting video rather than on your diving. Also, DO NOT dive alone!
