The platform, designed to provide a full suite of post-production tools, from ingest to delivery, directly integrated in a single ecosystem, includes significant improvements in quality, functionality and time to delivery.
DV Resolve has undergone significant improvements over the last months, featuring as one stop shop for post production workflow and delivery. The platform is not focused only on color grading but on a whole set of post production solutions and demands, such editing, special effects and sound design.
I can’t think of other post production softwares that have undergone such dramatic changes over such a short time period. That’s truly an achievement regarding software development.
Fusion- for visual effects and motion graphics animation
DV Resolve 15 includes tons of new features and functionalities not only to color grading but also to other post production demands, like the build in entirely new Fusion page for feature film quality visual effects and motion graphics animation. Fusion includes 3D workspace with over 250 tools for compositing, vector paint, particles, keying, rotoscoping, text animation, tracking, stabilization and more. According to Blackmagic Design, the fully migration of Fusion into Resolve will be completed over the next 12-18 months.
Also DV Resolve 15 has been updated massively in regard to the editing, grading and sound design platform. All of them include tons of new features and improvements.
FREE software!
The best part is, that the basic version of the software is FREE! Anyone can download DV Resolve 15 from Balckmagic Design website and start immediately editing, grading and delivering.
