Final thoughts

That is a smart move by Avid, as for today, many editors and post-production professionals are forced to work from home. We are expecting to see other post-production software who pick up the slack regarding facilitating workflow in this delicate COVID-19 situation. For instance, Adobe helps the community as well by making temporary at-home access to Creative Cloud (go to this link for further instructions). There is no doubt that COVID-19 is elevating the challenges in the filmmaking industry, which made us think and act creatively.
