We are deeply grateful for the overwhelming support and anticipation we have received after the announcement of the RED acquisition. We are planning that there will be no changes to the RED‘s current product lineup, the partners, and the relationship with the dealers. RED will continue to support its policies with warranty, repair service, customer service, and overall product support.

Nikon’s statement

Many RED shooters are afraid of the aftermath of their beloved company being acquired by Nikon. Hence Nikon has released a statement to lower the pulse of RED fans, emphasizing that there will be no change. As stated by Nikon: “ We are deeply grateful for the overwhelming support and anticipation we have received after the announcement of the RED acquisition. We are planning that there will be no changes to the RED‘s current product lineup, the partners, and the relationship with the dealers. RED will continue to support its policies with warranty, repair service, customer service, and overall product support”.

This announcement was made on Nikon’s social channels rather than a formal press release (see the picture above) as Nikon usually does. Social channels’ statements are RED’s style 🙂

Time will tell…
