Big news for Windows users who work with Apple ProRes. The latest update of Adobe Pro Video Apps (Adobe Premiere Pro CC, Media Encoder, After Effects) allows you to export Apple ProRes on Windows platform. 

Unleash Apple ProRes on Windows

The new ability to export ProRes on Windows platform will save a lot of workflow strain and overtax to windows editors. Until now, Windows users who wanted to export ProRes, had to deal with external unauthorized, unreliable plugins and tools that extended the workflow and caused stability issues. That made the ProRes format delivering a significant barrier.

As stated by Adobe: “Adobe has worked with Apple to provide ProRes export to post-production professionals using Premiere Pro and After Effects. With the latest Adobe updates, ProRes 4444 and ProRes 422 export is available within Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Media Encoder on macOS and Windows 10″.
