Piece of art

Although Y.M.Cinema Magazine is for filmmakers, we have decided to write about the Leica Q2 because it’s an interesting piece of art. Not that we recommend to buy it or to use it for filmmaking tasks, buy Hey, the Leica logo shines and that’s good enough for write up.

As stated by Leica: “With its newly developed, 47.3 megapixel full frame sensor, extremely fast Summilux 28 mm f/1.7 ASPH. prime lens, fast autofocus, innovative OLED technology, and timelessly elegant design, the Leica Q2 elevates the tradition established by its predecessor, the Leica Q.”

Final thoughts

As we wrote above, it’s not a video camera. It’s not meant for filmmakers. You pay for the shiny name and brand. It’s more like a piece of jewelry. If you have some spare money, go for it.
